Prospecting New SEO Clients
You're an seo freelancer and you've decided its time to get your own clients. You currently have a few employers that you freelance for but you want to scale things up and prospect your own clients. You have a modest seo portfolio of sites that you have ranked on page 1of google and a few other accomplishments but nothing huge.
For prospecting tools you are currently using the following:
Blog posts, whitepapers and quotes from the leading authority figures in SEO like Matt Cutts (Even if you don't like the guy, most prospects will feel more comfortable trusting you if you reference what the experts have to say.
Case studies - You have a list of case studies detailing before and after implementation plans related to seo, etc.
In addition to these 2 tools, I want to create some sort of free educational seo related course that is geared to provide valuable information that prospects can apply on their own, but at the same time using it as a sales tool to generate leads. Does anyone have any recommendations on this?
Also I am open to other tools or methods to get prospects.
All help and feedback is appreciated.
