Default Outsourcing question

I have found that in my town, there are no painters that have a website. I decided to start my own paint company and when someone comes to the site and wants a free quote, I have a couple of painters who are good and are interested in being outsourced. With me not knowing anything about painting. How would you go about getting these painters legally bound to me so that I make sure they are not overcharging my clients and doing a good job? Any ideas or suggestions?

Happy to Learn. Happier to Help!

Charge the clients directly and pay the painters yourself. Have your client write the checks to you and have the painters bring the check to you, you then pay the painter, that solves one of your problems.

To solve the second problem, to ensure the painters are doing a good job, ring the client after the job is completed. Not only will you be able to determine whether they have done a good job, the client will think you're wonderful for taking the time to find out whether they were happy with the work.

After a while you will build up a solid staff of painters who you can trust who you know will turn out high quality work, the checking up will become less of an issue.

You might also like to offer "referal" cards out to clients, let them know that if they recommend you to somebody else you would offer them a free gift , some kind of voucher.

si is talking 'arbitrage' there. As long as you can trust the painters, and clear the checks before handing over the painters fees, you should be ok.
