Promoting For Lesser Known Affiliate Networks?

I have a question for you guys regarding working as an affiliate for lesser known affiliate networks. Since starting my career in internet marketing, I have already registered and worked with widely known and reputable networks like Clickbank, ShareaSale, Peerfly, etc. Since these networks are very well known and mentioned frequently here on WF, I am well informed of their reputation and have little doubt.

Looking for specific campaigns that I want to promote, I've found a few affiliate networks on Offervault that offer them, but honestly have never heard of before. What are your opinions of promoting for smaller and relatively unknown networks? Any positive or negative experiences? I just want to make sure before I spend my time and money promoting for a network that might end up being unreliable.

If I were you, I would contact those networks. See if you can get a response via email or via phone and discuss with them before joining. You need to make sure you are comfortable. See if they have a live internet presence other than offervault. Other than that, there's nothing wrong with less known networks. Many of them including ourselves have top payouts, pay on time and have great support. Just give them a ring though and do your research.

First step is to always search google for "network name + sucks" or "network name + payment".
