Default If You Sell A Service - Here's A Clue...

Over the past few weeks I've spent literally thousands
of dollars for content, programming and design work.

Wherever possible I try to support fellow Warriors and
I have great working relationships with a lot of good
Warriors who offer excellent quality and service.

The thing that gets me to go back to these folks
time and time again is their focus on providing a good
service.

They respond quickly to my requests, they take time to
consider my specific needs and they deliver on their
promises.

I've contacted over a dozen "new" people recently and
it's unlikely that any of them will get my business.

Why?

Because they didn't pay attention to what I wanted, they
were far too busy telling me what they could do.

If you are selling a service..

The clue is in the word: "service".

John

Hi John,

Very good point indeed that many people forget. I deal with a lot of graphics people and have a small handful of reliable people. So many of them never bother answering emails, don't listen to your requests and just do what they think is right.

The service provider that keeps getting repeat clients is the one that listens, is contactable and provides a quality level of service. This is what I always endeavour to do with my clients and I get a good level of repeat business.

My philosophy is that when I start working with a client I am there to add value to your business, so when I produce work for clients I will provide information on additional ways to monetize it, additional products to add to the package or use in the autoresponder series and help ensure that the product I create is high value.

Oh, and the other big secret is to overdeliver where you can that always helps when providing a service.

All the best

Jason
