Cool Traffic Strategy That No One is Using.

Warriors,

I've done quite a bit of guest blogging in the past and I'm going to be doing a LOT this month. That's not the secret strategy here

But I've been thinking about how to put a twist on guest blogging. Most people who do guest blogging get a lot of things wrong and don't see the results they should because of it. We can't talk about that a bit in the comments if you'd like.

But for now I want to give you a quick, cool strategy you can use to get MORE traffic from your guest posts.

* Insert a Slideshare presentation (or a YouTube video) into the guest post.

Slideshare is one of the best places to get increased exposure for your content. However, the BEST way to get a lot of traffic from Slideshare is to hit the front page.

Kind of like Digg back in the 'ol days. But on a smaller scale

However, to hit the front page of Slideshare you need a bit of momentum. They post presentations on the front page which are getting hot on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. The more action you're presentation gets, the more likely you are to hit the front page.

So the first step you'll want to do is to embed the presentation on your blog.
Then share it on all of your social networks. Ask a few friends to share it.

And then include it in a guest post on a popular blog within your market.

Now you're not only getting increased traffic and exposure from your guest post - but you're also building up your exposure on sites like Slideshare and YouTube.

Plus, Slideshare has some great ranking power as well.

(Quick Note: Also, be sure to include a link INSIDE your presentation that points back to your website. You MUST create a call-to-action in every powerpoint. Which is pretty easy since Slideshare allows you to include links in the presentation itself.)

Although I can see the huge potential,
I never really focused on free traffic methods.

    Hey Kal

Glad you're enjoying the membership site!

I'm a big fan of paid traffic as well.

I like to do a bit of both.

But what I like about paid traffic though is that it's consistent
    and predictable.

I use Slideshare Kim. And sometimes within a matter of hours... some of my presentations will reach 350 views. Do you think these are real views, because i have quite a few presentations that have met this quota, but my website traffic logs don't reflect a major increase in traffic.

And yes... the URL at the bottom of my presentations is clickable. I've read their tutorial on how to do this. Insights?

    Hey Randall

I'd have to take a look at one of your presentations to know more.

Also, I would definitely use a tracking link (which you may already be using) that way you can see exactly how many visitors came from that particular source. Along with how many of them subscribe to your list.
