Default Ever burned a CD and couldn't get the stuff off it?

I burned a ton of stuff to CD's to clean off my hard drive. Today someone here asked about a script and I knew I had it on CD. I found the file tried to copy it back to the harddrive and it wouldn't let me. I did a search and found that this is common for a disc to corrupt like that. After about an hour I found out how to solve the problem.

Thought I would list the thread and the software used just in case anyone here is facing the same issue.

The free version of CD Recovery | CD DVD Data Rescue software, featuring BD HD DVD did the job for me
