Could a Health and Fitness website be profitable?

Hey guys,

I am thinking about starting a health, fitness, diet website. I think this would be perfect for me as I can write about these topics well. Could such a website be profitable? How would I make money? How much could I expect per week? Sorry for such a newbie question but I am just starting to try and make money on-line!

    The health niche is actually very popular along with real estate as well. You can add adsense for monetizing your site or becoming an affiliate of clickbank.

    ANY website can work and be succesful if you do it RIGHT.
    1. Have the right state of mind.
    2.Do the right research.
    3.Have the right content.
    4.Network with other people in the same niche.

    Those are VERY profitable niches if done right.

    My advice, find a solid angle and work it. Don't be generic, otherwise you will most likely go now where with it. Carve out a niche in an area of health, diet or fitness in which you already have knowledge/experience or at least an area in which you are interested in learning more about and writing about. Find the right keywords for it and become an authority for them/that subject.

    Done right, that is a recipe for a small fortune.

    That is a very very competitive niche. To be successful on that niche, you need to work hard. If you feel, you know something that can give you a breakthrough don't hesitate to start that. After developing site with good content, work hard with SEO for traffic.

    But don't you think that this niche is over competitive.....It is actually a very tough market and highly planned structure is needed for success.

    It'll be much easier if you narrow down your topic.

    It is definitely possible but is one of the most competitive niches around, I owned a website a while ago (buildingfitness.co.uk) which is no longer up which was high ranking on google and it was VERY profitable.

    Of course those websites could be profitable. I think the question for you since you are a newbie is not one of which niche to choose, but instead how to go about operating in a specific niche.

    You need to have a comprehensive plan to get your "offers" in front of as many people as possible and then a mentality that will enable you to see your plan through to the end.

    To begin with I suggest you concentrate on learning marketing methods, because without those you will fail no matter which niche you enter.

    Is really profitable because I and so many others are currently making a lot from a fitness program for just being an affiliate. And if we make good money from just being an affiliate, what do you think of the owner of the program?
