Getting Blogs Indexed By Google -Newbies Only

How to get your blog Indexed by Google in less than 7 days!

I don't claim to be an internet guru and I am sure there are professionals out there who have a better method. I was however able to get my blogs indexed in as little as 3 days but no more than 7 days. I felt like maybe this could help someone else out there so I wanted to share.

  1. Sign up for Google Webmaster Tools
  2. Submit a Site Map ( If not sure how-follow instructions on Webmaster tools)
  3. Sign-up for Feedburner, Submit your Feed & Set to auto ping
  4. Submit your blog to the major Social Bookmarking sites properly tagged with your targeted keywords (OnlyWire is a great way)
  5. Submit your Blog to Yahoo BUZZ as a news story
  6. Be sure to include Technorati and claim your blog as well as pinging from Technorati
  7. Go to Pingler.com (pings 92 services)
  8. Add and Verify meta-tags from Yahoo & Google Site verification

I can not guarantee results with this process but so far it has worked every time I have started a new BLOG. If anyone has anything to add to this please respond here and share with everyone your results. Good Luck!

P.S. Jumptags seems to have alot of Google juice!

    If you have a a site, maybe 1 to 2 years old a backlink to your new blog will speed thing up.

    I feel that 7 days is too much. There are people getting index in less than 24h

    I've never had a problem getting a blog indexed in 24-48 hours just by submitting a sitemap to Google and pinging the blog with pingomatic. As far as keeping the blog indexed, that depends on a few things, but in general as long as you're posting fresh and relevant content (without too much duplicate content) pretty regularly Google should eat it up.
