I haven't changed my sig file in a long time. I was gonna change it to include a gig I have going at Fiverr ... is that allowable here ... sorry if it's been mentioned.

I *think* as long as it's not an affiliate link and is going to your own service it should be fine. Mods correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, it should be okay. It would be similar to somebody sending traffic to their own Blogger blog.

The offer is yours, it's just being presented on a site that you don't own.

    All the best,
    Michael

Yes everything is legal except sigs linking to an affiliate site or some dirty nasty sites (not that I know anyone...)

FYI, the editing gigs are difficult to get going on Fiverr these days because you're competing with some good sellers who've been there since the beginning (February 2010). Customers looking for that service will almost always choose to hire the Seller with hundreds of good reviews as opposed to one with no track record.

That said, there's plenty of room for good writers. Put up a few writing gigs and you'll slowly get a customer or two. Over-deliver, get good reviews, and you'll eventually realize more sales. I know I'm always in search of good writers to outsource to.

I have seen some signature here which are linking towards fiverr gigs. I am sure it will not be a problem. Adult, gambling, affiliate links are prohibited.

Yep. They've got it right. If it's your gig, you can link to it. As long as it's not selling stuff we don't allow ads for, of course.
