Buying domains from companies going out of busines

has anyone tried this? It seems like it could be lucrative. Im trying to get some domains for a blog network. So if i could find people with a website in my market, and they are not internet experienced I might be able to find a deal.

How would you go about finding these people?

just type "expired domains" in google and you will see plenty of services that display expired and deleted domains in order to accomplish the above.

I think it's great as long as you do the keyword research properly

Yup. Although don't just buy every cheap domain, try to only pick ones that may actually have value. Those companies went out of business for a reason
