Help! I'm at the end of my rope.
I have been failing at internet marketing for over a year now and am at the bottom of the barrel in life. My husband and I just found out we owe $1600 in taxes when we have never had to pay taxes before. Turns out his second job didn't take out any taxes at all and that adds up pretty quickly before we even knew it. We only make $2600 a month between the two of us from our jobs but our expenditures are over $3000 a month. I owe over $50,000 in student loans and owe over $24,000 in debt not including our house we rent from my inlaws that they had to purchase just so we could get a home. I never thought i'd live like this, but i want to change. We've been doing anything and everything we can to get our debt back under control. I don't want to be given a fish, but want to be taught how to fish so that I can feed my family for a lifetime. I was hoping to get some advice here if anyone has the time. I would love to buy someone's formula, but right now I hardly have enough cash left to get groceries and gas for this week til we get paid next, and even then every cent goes to utilities and rent and our bills. Did anyone see the "Pay it Forward" Movie? Does anyone ever offer to take someone by the hand and help them along the way pro bono? Or even if you can guarantee to teach me to make x amount in a month then let me pay you afterwards. I know that everyone is trying to run a profitable business, but my mother always said it never hurts to ask, and doing good for others helps you too. Especially with the pay it forward concept. If you can show me how to change my life and then I can show someone else the same thing and help more people to get out of this economic turmoil. If you can help me, I would greatly appreciate it and I know others would appreciate it to. I want to be able to get out of debt. I can't live with the stress anymore. I have the time and devotion, but very little money. I'm challenging anyone who reads this to pay it forward. Help me or even three others find their way and get back on track so that they in turn can help three others and so on. I appreciate your time and thank you for reading this. I'd appreciate any and all replies. Sincerely, Jackie (jmusselman99@gmail.com) |

Jackie, hang in there! What have you tried doing for the past year? Give some more specifics so people can direct you to helpful resources, etc.
In the meantime, keep your chin up - if you've got the desire to succeed, you will do what it takes! ![]() Wendy |

I've tried pay per click, but stopped shortly thereafter since i was only losing money. I've also tried some article marketing. I've read so many posts that say to start small and if i could make $5 a day that would make a difference. If only I can figure this whole thing out and make it work. I have one site up for some relationship stuff at www rebuildthepassion com. Any ideas on how I can continue with it and make it better? I appreciate the help.

I do agree in the Pay It Forward concept, but don't really agree with "Pay it forward by helping me". Just ask for help and there are plenty around who will offer it up freely.
Anyway, the help I'm going to provide may not seem too helpful, but we'll see. You owe $1600 in taxes, but those don't HAVE to be paid right now. You can delay those by a few months without accruing to much in penalties and interest. You can also usually work whoever you owe them to (fed or state) to make payments on them as well. Don't look at it as having to pay that whole balance at once. When you break it into smaller chunks, it becomes much easier to swallow. I've done this before without any issues. You can file the taxes and just send a check for whatever you can, then they'll send you a bill for the rest later. As long as you keep sending money, and eventually pay it, then they'll be happy. The penalties don't usually add up to much, though I can only speak for the state of Kansas. Anyway, hope this can help make things seem a little better. |

There were a couple of posts just today that may help answer some questions:
No One Goes On The Internet To Be Sold To An Even EASIER EASIER method of Making Money with CPA offers People say that there is a wealth of information here, and there really is, but it also requires that you do a bit of reading and tracking each day. Instead, if you are interested in article marketing (or whatever you are interested in using) then use Google to search the forum posts to get all the posts quickly without having to read through everything (that can get quickly overwhelming!). "article marketing site: http://warriorforum.com " without quotes will search the forum for posts that mention or are tagged for article marketing. Take care! |

Jackie,
I am going to critique your website and maybe some others can throw in some more comments. Oh, by the way your link on #1 way to rekindle magic is wrong FIX IT. This may explain why you are not getting any sales from there.I think first you need to decide if your are trying to be an advice column or a site that sells products. If you are selling products you have to tease people with information so that they click on the links on the page to find out the secrets to fix their problem. You have very little time to grab your viewers attention and having a home page that looks like a letter is not very eye catching. In your articles are you sending traffic always to your home page or are you sending them to a specific page on your site? If your article is on how to get your ex back you should send people to that page and not your home page. Your other pages you make people read all this information that looks like a letter before they get to the meat of the content that you have at the bottom of every page. Do not be shy about promoting a product and catch their eye with bold statements. So instead of giving people 10 ways to rekindle their relationship you need to direct them to your link on the page. DO NOT USE AN AD BANNER FOR YOUR LINK. Here is a very quick and dirty example of what I would try; Rekindle The Magic In Your Relationship! Living with the same partner for a long time can become stable and comfortable, and, as a result, can also kill the spark that made your relationship so special in the first place. I personally use these techniques and they work wonders for me and they will certainly work for you. Even Oprah recomends these same secrets on her show. Click This Link To Expose The Secrets REKINDLE THE MAGIC/HOP LINK You are not giving them advice, you are telling them about a secret that will fix their problem but to find out what the secret is they have to click the link. You have to direct them to select your link to the sales page. You have to tell people what to do if they are going to act. Also put links in through out your letter to get the product out there that you are promoting. Any how I have spent too much time doing this but I hope this information helps. |

Jackie,
what you are going thru now with the 'failing' at internet marketing and the debt you guys are working thru, that is content right there. I say Blog. Blog what you are going through, the steps you are taking to get out of what you are in, every aspect of it that you feel comfortable. You are not the only person in this position, but very few share it. You taking what may seem like a failure and using it to help others will turn it into a success, plus blogging is cathartic, will help you organize your thoughts plus see things arent as horrible as you may think. 4 yrs ago I was in 42k of debt and today I have none, my one regret is that I didn't share it along the way. Plus as you learn and grow, you will be building a brand and a reputation in and of yourself, that in itself is marketable and can be quite profitable. sometimes there aren't quick answers, many times God sends us the long way around for one reason or another. so for an old cliche'..really hang in there, don't let it all overwhelm you, you can accomplish this. |

Jackie,
If you want to start making some money right away you need to start writing. Go to get a freelancer dot com, and sign up for free account. There are lots of request for original content (articles). It sounds like your a natural English speaker so you will be in high demand. Since you are new it may take a little bit of time to land a project, and you can even send samples of the articles that you write to the project owner, but once you have few projects under your belt and you are getting good ratings you will have some much work that you will have to passover some projects. However don't think of this is a hobby make it your business. |

Write write write, work work work. Once you get some extra capital (after paying your taxes) then you can develop less work-intensive money making methods?
What skills/knowledge do you have that people will want?? |
