What's best way to sell an online store?

I buy in bulk but my supplier will also dropship.
Shipping yourself cuts costs 50% however.

Store earned $2.3k Revenue . $1.6k profit.

My thoughts, asking $8k for the project is not a bad deal at all ? ? That's 5x monthly.

I'm not asking 'where' to sell but more-so, are there different rules to selling this kind of project since it's a store . All store transactions are via Paypal.

Is there some questions people have for these typically that vary from selling an Adsense site?

Is Flippa / Warrior / DP / or other website best for selling these?

Thanks in Advance!

I dont understand your dilemma/question. What are you looking to do? Are you looking to sell sites or make money with a dropshipper?

Flippa should accept this...assuming you have all the documentation. I see drop ship sites on there all the time.

Flippa is what I use. Worked great for me. Just bought 2 sites off Flippa last week - good deals and the good support on the transfers.

Stay with flippa its your best bet for survival. Use escrow and you will be fine. Follow there quidelines and accept 10 percent less. You were a little sketchy in your post but I understand what your saying. Stay away from forums and ebay when selling websites that are making money.

Put PayPal in your business name if you haven't already. This way the account will be accessed and transferred to the person/business that buys it. Make sure everything is defined in what comes with the business. Ever see "Moving" with Richard Pryor where the home owners walk him through his new house, and point to what comes with the house and doesn't say what isn't included? When he moves in, a lot of the things such as the cabinets and sink are gone. Same concept, and people who don't go through and 100% include exactly what is included and what isn't, can get pretty messed up legally and financially.

When I sold my beauty salon supply (which was an online business) business last year, I found someone local who wanted to buy it. It was easier to transfer the inventory over and help get them set up.

You can also get an attorney to act as "escrow" to make things a little safer for all parties.

The same question to me, it is too difficult to make success by selling online.
