this is the first time that i'm trying to make money online.
i'm going to try and promote affiliate products.
how does clickbank pay me?

most importantly, how do i fill in the signup form?
https://www.clickbank.com/affiliateA...ignup.htm?key=

i'm from the UK, so i've written that but what should i write for payee name and for PO box/street is that just where i live? why does clickbank need that? just wondering.

also what type of username is best to have?

do you need paypal because i am unable to get that.

thanks

It's explained here: Earning Commissions and Getting Paid

And there are more details here: Accounting Policy - ClickBank

May I offer you a tip, for the future? It's absolutely essential, when you're doing internet marketing (and probably for any other form of business, too) to read the Terms Of Service of the companies with whom you do business.

Whatever name you want to appear on the cheques ClickBank sends you (i.e. the same as the name on your bank account - normally your own name unless you have a limited company, or whatever).

Your first two payments will be by cheque, sent by post. After that, you can switch to direct deposit payments if you want (it's easier and faster).

Nobody apart from ClickBank's staff will be able to see your address.

It's up to you. The only place it will really show to your customers is at the bottom of the order-page, when they pay ClickBank. It will say "affiliate=yourname", so choose one you don't mind people seeing, if they notice it. (It might show in your hoplinks as well, actually, if you don't mask/disguise them, but you should).

No - not needed at all. Just a bank account.

This post might also help you, if you're becoming a ClickBank affiliate: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post6737670

    Good luck!

I don't believe that you are required to have a PayPal account. You can have them issue paper checks or direct deposit to your bank account (my preference).

As far as username, I don't think it much matters what you use. You should always cloak your hoplinks anyway, so typically no one will ever see your account ID.

I hope this helps a bit!

I re-direct a .info domain-name, myself (no hosting needed for it).

There are many other ways of doing it, but they don't suit non-techies like me.

If you use Wordpress, there's a thing available called "Prettylink" which everyone says is good, for this sort of purpose.

The important thing is to avoid using any unnecessary third-party service such as tinyurl or bit.ly. For these reasons, among many others: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post6737482

I think so, yes. I was actually 18 when I started, just about, but I've never found anywhere on their site where it says it isn't. And I certainly know people under 18 who do this.

(By the way, not that you need it in this context, you might be able to get a PayPal student account, you know? For age 13+, I think).

I think that'll be ok; and just leave "extension" blank. If the form submits ok, that'll do.

And, as Anne mentions above, you need to read their terms of service yourself! (Granted, some of these things aren't mentioned in them). :p
