Default domain structure question

Which would you suggest or recommend using...

www.mysite.com/recommends or www.mysite.com/resources ?

It's for a single page that has a group of same-niche affiliate products, from which I'll promote link exchanges too.

Thanks

I would also say number 2 , as i have seen a lot of affiliate sites use the first one and you want to make you site seem different to all the other affiliate sites out there.

yeah... but it depends on how you're using it.

If you're using it in the context of an actual recommendation, then it could be effective to say recommends, however if you're just linking to it, then resources might be good to throw people off scent a bit..

Long ago I used use recommends...and the like, but I did not like the work involved in creating the links. I started looking around and find a real nice script that was just awesome and completely free even in commercial use. I don't use it anymore because both my sites are Joomla sites, so I don't have to hide my affiliate links anymore, however when I did have a plain HTML site I used FM click tracker it hides your links. You can choose what links you want hidden and it keeps track of every click made on the link you have chosen. It is very easy to set up and use. You need a host the supports Pearl vr.5 or higher Linux/Unix based and my sql.

Why don't you put something like www.mysite.com/membersonly

Something creative and that has more meaning than an old boring resources title. Make your subscribers or people you are sending that link to feel special.
