Just starting out at Clickbank

Hello, Warriors. I'm a total newbie when it comes to affiliate marketing. I have read some howto articles and gathered the courage to visit the Clickbank site but found me a total dumbo there. I don't know where to go, what niche to follow, which product to choose, etc. If anyone of you Warriors can please guide me over the process, I'll be very thankful to you'll.

You should choose a niche that you are specialized in and select the product by gravity.

Gravity is a good indicator that the product is selling. Also do some research on the particular market using a good keyword tool(googles is free and great), alexa.com, ebay.pulse.com or any other similar website that can give you indicators of the current market conditions.

    1. Choose an "EverGreen" niche (one that allows you to make money all year round) e.g. Weight Loss, Make Money Online etc

    2. Set a "Squeeze Page" & a FREE GIFT you can give away

    3. Start sending traffic to that squeeze page

    4. You can buy Solo Ads from the W.F. that will get you targeted traffic FAST

    5. Set up your Auto-Responder so you can stay in-touch with with your subscribers once they have opted in at your squeeze page to receive their FREE GIFT.

    6. Keep sending your list relevant and outstanding information to build up a strong relationship with them.

    7. Try recommending "THE BEST" affiliate offers on offer to your list at the back end of your sales funnel via your autoresponder messages.

    8. Keep focusing on sending traffic to your squeeze page and building that list!!!

Hope this helps direct you in the place you need to go and all the best!

Since I'm fairly new to the job, should I just go with writing simple product reviews or should I give my time to building squeeze pages and list.

In my opinion, no. This is very unlikely to get you off to a good start, and you'll lose your traffic that way, too, without any of them opting in.

List: definitely yes. It's essential, really, to make more than the occasional semi-random sale of ClickBank products.

Squeeze page: optional. I do much better from lists built without them, myself. But squeeze pages can also work quite well for this.

you have a choice between building a list when promoting clickbank offers or just simply making fast upfront commissions

if you want to build a list then its way more profitable but you will of course need to set up squeeze pages, OTO pages, sales funnels, follow up emails etc

If you want to just send people direct to the sales page and make fast commissions then creating videos reviews on youtube is a good way to start

once your making some cash i would def start to build a list and start capturing all the traffic

    I'm afraid not.

It isn't actually an indicator of that at all, let alone a "good" one.

There are many products with three-figure gravities which aren't selling well at all (some of them aren't even being promoted by many affiliates, let alone "selling"!); and there are also many products with single-figure gravities quietly and continually selling many thousands of copies.

There isn't an intrinsic correlation at all between "gravity" and "how a product is selling".

In spite of now being fairly openly explained on ClickBank's website, this subject remains hugely misunderstood.

Unfortunately, there's already quite a bit of incorrect and misleading information in the replies above.

I can try to help, just hoping it doesn't now confuse you further!

The most basic essentials of promoting ClickBank products as an affiliate are in this post from yesterday: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post6737670

Some key points of "how to choose products", which have helped many people, are here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post2161932 (you'll see from that post's last paragraph how misguided some of the comments above, in this thread, might be!).

    Good luck!

Focus on a niche you like and has the potential for building a list. Then create a squeeze page and send all the traffic you can there. Create a relationship with your subscribers and then monetize the list promoting CB offers.

How do an affiliate know about a product. Like its pros and cons and every detail. Do the company provide you with a copy. If not then how do you get to the details.
