Getting your business mobile ready recommended?

Hi

Is getting your website mobile ready recommended? Have you done this already?

Doing research online and apparently by 2013 mobile devices will be used more then laptops and computers etc for searches? http://attractmorecustomers.co.uk/wp...bile-Ready.pdf

Would you do an app for your business or just make it use able on your mobile browser?

For the most part, I don't believe most sites need an app - but most should make themselves mobile friendly.

A mobile friendly website will convert more visitors into paying customers, guaranteed. Depending on the size of your target marketing and how well you market an app, it could profit your business greatly or be a complete flop. Offering specials to mobile users is a great way to encourage users to use your new tools (mobile website/apps).

Although I'm heavily into the whole mobile thing, it really is a no brainer.

That one line above is all you need to know.

Regular websites were made for regular sized PC's. They were never designed for mobile devices. Times are changing and so too should your website.

For most regular businesses apps however are a little overkill. They are generally expensive and time consuming to create.
