I Need A Social Bookmarking Strategy

How often can I bookmark one of my own pages (on the same domain)?

If I wanted to bookmark one new page a day on my dmoain, how many other pages on other sites would I need to bookmark? (this is based on just using one set of social bookmarking accounts).

I hear people saying that you should only allow about 10% of your bookmarks to be your own...

And is it worth boomarking your articles on EzeinArticles, and can you do it to every single article you publish there?

I'm so lost when it comes to social bookmarking!

For everyone 1 of my own urls I bookmark I bookmark 2 other news worthy links, my accounts don't seem to get banned either unless it's site like Digg which is very strict.

Also if the urls you are submitted actually contain good content with little or NO adveristing that also helps, you can always put your promo page up without ads, bookmark it and put the ads up at a later date.

Commenting on other bookmarks without linking out also builds you SB credability

Digg is strict but I get the most visitors from digg and propeller. Post your best at these sites.

I actually did a test, posted only bookmarks from the one site, constantly a few a day for a month. never banned. still getting traffic from those links.

There are certain ways bookmarking should be done.. Many preach about bookmarking your own website/url's but what they fail to tell you is using others established accounts will help you even more.

Bookmarking your own site is fine as long as you also bookmark other sites that have nothing to do with yours (eg: news articles, game sites, free stuff sites, and etc).. Bookmark one url of your site and then bookmark 3 of some other site.

Bookmarking can help a great deal but do not expect it drive massive traffic overnight because that is not how bookmarking works. It's like submitting articles to an article directory, it is meant to help in the long run for backlinks and etc...
