Ok, so we know they're not ideal for SEO and they definitely load slower... Most Gurus would tell you to stay away from them. The thing is... a lot of big companies that make a lot of money use flash websites - for example, web design companies who use it to impress clients who don't any better - and that's just one example. If you're selling in a market that might be impressed by it (web-design, corporate...etc) do you think it makes sense to consider it? |

This is something that I have wondered about as well. What implications are there with flash templates and PPC. Does your QS get hammered with a flash site and if so, is this because it loads slowly. From my point of view I think flash sites look much more professional and so I guess that customers would also have the same opinion, so what is the downside of flash? |

I guess if the website is designed with more of a "branding" aspect in mind, it won't matter if the site is SEO'd or not. So Flash could work perfectly with the theme or feel of the site (and be impressive as well). ~D.C. |
