Membership Sites - Best Way

If you wanted to own multiple sites that charge users a membership fee to access the site, what would be the best way to go about that?

Is there a membership site software available?

What step-by-step process would you take to:

1) Create the site
2) Market the site
3) Manage members
4) Bill them

Really looking for some help and insight here. Thanks in advance guys!

I have spent the last 6 weeks putting my membership site together

I am using Fast member in combination with Optimize press

There not cheap but they work great together and look very slick when finished

(Do Not go for any free scripts, you want quality tools so your best to pay good money for them and you will have a good quality site with the best features)

I have a great little site set up now with tonnes of cool stats which are available in the admin panel

All i do now is add new videos into my membership site on a daily basis for my members and keep progressing with things from there and building my members

I will say it is a hell of a lot of work at the start but its certainly worth it. Once its built and running its easy to maintain

if you need any other info let me know

Go do some Google searching on Jason Fladien. He has some courses that deal with the exact steps you need. You will not get a super detailed answer for free. This is the exact reason why people create courses.

Have a look at THIS. (Not an affiliate link). It's professional, yet free, membership management software

Try this aMember Pro and attach it with your site script, it does support all major platforms like wordpress, bulletin boards, joomla etc..

The site in my sig is a new membership site, so feel free to check it out and try a free sign-up to see how it works. I use DAP (Digital Access Pass) for the membership system and swagmag premium wordpress theme. Not cheap but they are worth the investment as they save a lot of messing around.

A membership site can really be worth the investment if one has the wisdom to market and maintain it effectively.

Do yourself a favor and check out Rapid Residual Pro. RRP is a very robust membership platform and the support form Steve, the owner, is world class. Good luck.

    Thanks,
    Allan

Check out amember.com, it's handled out entire business for about 5 years or so.

Another I recommend is EasyMemberPro.com, easy to set up and use.

Not sure if you meant software or strategy but I wouldn't build it first..

    before that
squeeze page - email - free content
    mail your list
be useful on relevant forums/fb pages
    build list
    survey list
    decide to go ahead
    build site
    add minimum viable content
    open site
    survey
    add more content
    get more traffic etc
    convert more members

I've been using FastMember wordpress plugin which I bought as a WSO, and it's been brilliant.

As you can see hundreds of options are available. Write down the key features you want to achieve and make sure that the script will cover these.

eg. autoresponder integration, content delivery, payment process integration, affiliate programme, flexability with graphic design, level of support, login offers

The best thing to do it to reverse engineer a site in your niche that you want to be like. Ask the owner what script they used, and ask them to mentor you and help you get started.
