Bullets points on squeeze page?

I was wondering if bullet points on a squeeze page lower or improve conversions?

It depends upon a number of factors...

For example, it depends upon how good your copywriting
skills are at creating enticing bullets. If you write crap
bullets, your conversions won't be good. If you can write
bullets really well, your conversions will go up.

Also, does your audience respond well to written text or
do they respond better to other formats like video?

Plus, you might not need any bullets at all. Some of my
highest converting squeeze pages have nothing but a
    headline, a strong call-to-action, an opt-in box and a
    submit button.

Testing will let you know the best options for you and
    your traffic.

It is worth pointing out that you don't want the highest converting squeeze page. You want the squeeze page that results in the highest ROI and that is quite often NOT the one with highest conversion rate.

This is a mistake a lot of people make. Sure, removing bullet points might result in a higher conversion rate but chances are you are getting a less quality lead by having less information on your squeeze page... and your ROI from those leads ends up smaller.

I track conversions all the way through my funnel from
        source to sale.

The rest of my funnel is designed to further refine the
list and identify the most qualified subscribers.

So, I have a relatively easy squeeze page and then
more rigorous qualification steps along the way.

If you add extra roadblocks up front, you can choke
        your sales funnel too soon.

Test it out and track it for yourself. Your mileage may
        vary.

That's why I said in my original post...

        Good advice.

I would say, split test the bullet points and track what brings you the best results.

ROI might be a little hard to track, because you won't know your exact ROI until you send your first promotional email.

A good Wordpress theme for creating squeeze pages is Optimize Press. There are many types of bullet points you can use, in different colors. I just love it.

At the end of the day the only way to get the answer to hypothetical questions is to test. You might get a answer that is the exact opposite to what is true. Testing is the only real way to get the answer.

What are some ways I can test the funnel guys? Do you use any particular tools?

Go with the bullet points, my squeeze pages always convert better with those.
