How to deal with out dated posts?

Hello,

I'm struggling with the following.

Every month I want to add a post with the best selling products in my niche.
I also want to do this with the best deals and highest discounts for the products every month.

But how do I post these posts?

I mean, if I add a new post every month called like:
Best Selling X Products in June 2012
Best Selling X Products in July 2012
etc.

After two years I have a lot of these posts on my website that are not relevant anymore. Google let us know that they want us to remove these old posts and pages from our website.
What is the best way to deal with this?

I think it's also not good to remove all these pages, but I would like to know how to handle this.

Should it be better to post these best selling products from each month on one single post and add every month the new month on top. I want to keep about 6 months on the post, then every time I post a new month, then delete the oldest one at the bottom.
Do you think this will work?

I hope you want to share with me how you deal with this.

Thanks a lot,

Isaan

Go check out IMReport card. Its the best review site that I have seen. Your over thinking your process above. Don't delete anything on your blog. Update your blog more often then once a month.

Why not create a category on your site with all of these posts and call it 'monthly best sellers product x'

This is exactly what I do, it works and I never remove old posts you will still get clicks on the older posts too.

      Hello,

Both Chris Cole and Jamesrich1, thank you very much for your advice.

I will start working the ways you explained.

I agree with Chris! Don't remove old posts (unless you find in hindsight that you recommended something stupid).

Instead, you can always update old posts if needed. For example, if a product is no longer available, add a little update and mention that, plus refer them to another post on your blog with a newer product that will meet their needs.

Don't have such a post? Go find a great product that fits the bill and write up your post already! Your readers will thank you. And your pocketbook, since you'll naturally use an affiliate link, right?

I just discovered that one of my most popular post is several years old, for a review I did on a now defunct product. So I did exactly that - I updated it and recommended something that they can check out to meet their needs NOW.

        Good luck.
