Sheer accident found two new traffic boosts

In one day I found by sheer dumb accident two ways to use Facebook to generate great traffic.

Sometimes just futzing around and doing a good deed can bring in the exposure. I was stunned but it was because I was just doing my job and having fun.

Did you ever get a big break by just fumbling onto something? Was it a PM to the right person or a mistake with Skype?

    This. Doing good deeds for others is building relation with (not just to them) them. Building relations far more than transactions is the key (at least, IMHO) to success in business.

    People will like you. People will admire you. People will look after you.

    Once you've given people a reason for them to know you, transactions will follow without even the need to proactively promote your products and services.

    Your genuine interest to help others will make people genuinely interested to know what you do.

    Content360 I agree to a degree.

    I needed a boost in writing assignments and art assignments and getting products out there.

    Today has been something astonishing. I made major impacts in the comics and animation business and made lots of new Facebook friends. The things I stumbled on I'm going to just let happen. No planning whatsoever or weird strategies. Just let things go. If I had tried to plan it, it wouldn't have worked.

    I'm getting close to those high five IM figures as soon as I stabilize a bit. I needed to get my studio in order and make a better mobile studio. The possibilities are endless by doing just what you said there. Matter of fact I should do it for some other IMers just to see what happens. Care to be the first? I know you'll love it.

    I'm having such a kick out of this strategy that I need another test subject. Anyone in the U.S. with a good number of Facebook friends who have a good number of Facebook friends, PM me. This is fun, doesn't cost any money and it's just a way to say thanks to good friends you have especially if you have business related friends.

    It's something only we artists can do.
