I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced something similar. Here is my story: About a month ago or so one of my blogs got slammed from the first page of Google down to nowhere to be found. It is still indexed, but it only ranks on the first page for one of my targeted keywords (still going strong though – No. 1 for most key combinations for one product I sell). However those are not my most profitable keywords and the product is cheap. The blog no longer ranks anywhere near the first page for the rest of keywords. I have to add this is an old blog with over 300 posts, pages PR from 1 to 4 depending on the page. That's half the trouble. It still gets traffic from article directories. Then next thing I notice is that all of a sudden a major article directory deletes over ten of my articles for my most profitable keywords. On top of that they lock me out of my account. I wonder if this is a coincidence, bad luck or what? Any thoughts? Ever had something like this happen to you? |

Sorry to hear that, ActiveTrader, Have you done any Google-style research on the article directories that locked you out? Perhaps they do that every once in a while to steal traffic when someone has a couple of real winners. I agree it wouldn't be good for their business over the long haul but it's something to consider...Let me know what you think.. Eric |
