URL buzzwords for Affiliate Marketers

Hello. I'm new to this whole IM thing (only been doing it a few months), but I find it all incredibly fascinating. It's a whole new world that i'm really interested in.

What I'm keeping my focus on is AF and what I haven't been able to get an answer on is finding tips on choosing the right URL for your website and if it should have any buzzwords to attract potential customers. Or maybe i'm wrong and the URL name isn't as important as i'm hyping it up in my mind to be.

keep it simple with some keywords in it that you will be targeting for potential customers.

What is your blog going to be based around? Do a search on the Google adwords keyword tools ( it's free )
and look for some good keywords. If they are buying keywords even better. Look for low competition, and high searches.

Once you find a good domain name that fits these criteria, buy that domain name, and start a blog, or a website around it.

Thanks a lot for the feedback. That's pretty much what I was doing, but i was paranoid to make a move on an url just at the chance of making a mistake. i just dont want to have the first move be a mistake.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think what you are referring to is domain name. There are long or short names and keyword-based or branding based.

Or if you are referring to how to structure your posts' or pages' URL, then putting in as many of the important keywords as possible (while still readable) is quite important to SEO.
