Hello everyone! I think about creating a forex advisor and sell it with PLR. I have never seen such products. Do you think it is a profitable idea?

I trade forex a bit myself, but that doesn't mean I'm someone you wanted to hear from, at all. (I'm a marketer, but not in this niche).

Unless I've missed something fairly obviously apparent (always possible!) I don't intrinsically see why "PLR" would be seen as an advantage by the potential customers for an EA, I have to say.

That doesn't, strictly speaking, answer the question "Do you think it's a profitable idea?", but what I'm getting at is that I can't see why attaching any additional "rights" to the product itself would be more profitable than not doing that.

To whom are you anticipating that might particularly appeal?

I ask because I recognise the reality of your comment that one doesn't see this offered, but I'm wondering whether that might be because there's no defined or even definable market for it?

I admit I'm biased, for two main reasons. First, it always seem to me that when you're selling an EA, the glaring and ultimately unanswerable objection you have to overcome is exactly the same as it is for someone selling a roulette system: "If it works reliably, why do you need to sell it for $200 (or whatever) rather than just using it yourself every day, and if it doesn't work reliably, why would I want to buy it in the first place?"

And secondly, my father's been a professional forex trader since before I was born, and I know from long experience that he and all his successful colleagues are delighted for these EA's and similar things to be continually promoted and sold, because the way those markets have always worked is that there's a huge proportion of people who believe in "backfitted systems" (just as they do for roulette) and they inevitably end up being the ones subsidising the professionals who make a living. So I'd keep well away from it, myself.

If you can create an EA that actually works reliably, then you don't need to be a marketer, do you? Sorry, but you did ask.

I'd vote against going the PLR route and sell the EA directly from a website. This gives you the opportunity of actually owning the product. You could also leverage affiliate marketing later on to boost your sales.

Going by what Alexa said, I agree that the market is flooded with EAs because every trader is looking for the next big thing. That being said it's competitive, but not to discourage you. Just make sure your EA has a unique feature or technique that other EAs don't have.
