Do you think this will work?

So I'm working on a blog and actually trying to finish up my free ebook, so I haven't really been focusing on traffic to it yet. This blog will be my main business and my brand I want to build on.

I decided just to have something else on the side, just to try. I saw a thread here and followed the steps. I picked a clickbank product, picked a domain and hosted on hostgator. I then redirected my domain with my hop link. I went to fiverr and paid for some marketing with the link, including offline stuff. Will that work at all or am I wasting my time? Do I need my own sales page or is redirecting ok to do? If nothing else, I did learn a newbie lesson - that I can't create an ad with Google adwords when redirecting a link...ahhh so much to learn!

    Only one way to find out.

    You should be okay just redirecting the link. That's what I'd do unless the sales copy is horrible. In that case, I'd write a better copy then have the hoplink go straight to the sales page.
