What is an OTO means in WSO forum

Hi all,

I see in the warrior special offer forum, there is an OTO offer from the WSO vendor/seller. What is an OTO means ? Is it the optional application (plugin, themes, etc) from their main application offer ?
Your kindly advice will help me much!

Thanks,

An OTO is a "One Time Offer". Meaning that once you make a purchase of a WSO There is an up-sell, generally during the check out process.

Please correct me if I am wrong,
"........ purchase of a WSO There is an up-sell, ....."
It is (up-sell) means beside the main product/application, the WSO vendor/seller offers their next/other future product ? Is it quite different with the main product, right ?
Thank for the next words, I am totally newbie about the WSO

        Regards,
The OTO is generally an offer that enhances the main WSO. Example:
You buy a WSO on "How to find aged domain names" and the OTO may be software that does this for you or even a service where the vendor offers to do this for you or even an offer to join a Private "Mastermind Group"

An OTO is also referred to as an "Up Sell" but is not a required purchase. In other words; the WSO should be a stand alone product but the OTO is usually something that enhances the WSO.

I may be wrong but I believe that here on the Warrior Forum a WSO is supposed to be a stand alone product. However, the vendor is allowed to offer Up sells and Down sells.

You will find some Internet Marketers offer an OTO, then if you decide not to take the OTO you will be offered another OTO which is usually a "Down Sell" such as a discount on the original OTO or could even be another product.

Some Internet Marketers, even here on the Warrior Forum, take the Up sells and down sells to the extreme. I have seen WSOs that have 4 or 5 Up Sells/Down Sells - and it makes the purchase process very confusing....

Read the WSO carefully as most of the better Internet Marketers here on the Warrior forum will tell you if they have an OTO and if they don't then it's perfectly OK to ask the vender if there is an Up sell.

Actually, a OTO and an upsell are NOT one in the same thing.

A OTO is supposed to be an offer that is made only ONCE and the person has only one chance to purchase that offer at that price. Thus the name 'One Time Offer'. If they decline the offer then they should never see it again (if done properly).

An upsell however is just an additional product offered after the purchase however that offer is also usually available for purchase later even if you decline it the first time around. An upsell has less scarcity than a OTO.

    Thanks,
It stands for "one-time offer." Virtually every product in IM has them. Yeah, they are optional (or should be, anyway). I'm a firm believer that with a quality product, the front-end or main product should teach you everything you need to know with whatever method you are using.

An oto basically means the marketer selling the product loves taking your money so much that he's going to take more off of you again!

As you can tell I don't agree with them! It's my view that if a product requires you to buy something else to help and improve the original product, then it shouldn't be sold in the first place! Where do people get off selling incomplete products? Wouldn't get away with it in the real world, so why online?

    Rant over! Carry on!

i found that very rarely is an OTO an actual one time offer.

if you stick around long enough in that email funnel, u'll find that same offer pop up and sometimes cheaper than before.
