Can I make money selling on paydotcom

I have a few new products I would like to find some affiliates for and I lie how paydotcom doesn't charge for multiple product lines> I also like how you can set your site up your way because they do not need to approve your pitch pages. I was just curious to see if any of you have made any money selling with paydotcom.

If you want to attract serious, professional affiliates, PayDotCom is perhaps one to avoid, really.

The problem with it is that affiliates there are dependent on the vendor for payment, and that's just something people don't need, when there are 15,000+ products from which to select at ClickBank, without that constant problem.

And then there are many other affiliate networks with instantaneous, automated PayPal payments, for people who don't mind being paid all their commissions that way.

But PayDotCom? Not so much ... I spend a few hundred hours per year looking actively for new/different products to promote, but that's one place I don't look, and as you can see explained in many other threads here, I'm far from the only one.

I don't see that as a problem. Amazon is a vendor. There are thousands of vendors on CJ, Linkshare, Shareasale, Google, and many other aggregate affiliate networks. These networks are only passing on affiliate payments. If they don't get paid by the vendor the affiliate doesn't get paid.

There are bound to be a few problem vendors anywhere.

But considering the vendor is the one getting paid by the customer it is only natural the vendor pays the affiliate. Seems to me that is the norm.

Instantaneous payments with PayPal are the exception and are mainly limited to digital products in the Internet Marketing arena - a very tiny boat in the sea of online commerce.

Are instant payments great? You bet. But I think it is a huge mistake to limit yourself to those products.

One benefit of PayDotCom over ClickBank is that vendors are in control and not subject to the refund nonsense ClickBank is known for. You also don't see threads every other week about PayDotCom suddenly not tracking conversions.

One benefit of ClickBank over PayDotCom is the fee for every product. That helps weed out a lot of junk, although as the OP notes that benefit to consumers is not a benefit to vendors low on cash or wanting a quick and easy method to try new products.

There is no perfect company for every vendor and every affiliate. PayDotCom has many interesting features and if they meet your needs you should give it a try. The business was practically 'birthed' out of the Warrior Forum. The service, like any service, has had its issues and they have been addressed here. ClickBank also has many great features. Use what is best for you.

If your goal is to attract affiliates simply by having your product listed in a marketplace, then I think ClickBank easily wins that race.

Yeah, I heard that PayDotCom's vendors have to pay their affiliates manually. I did not like that in the past so I never worked with them. With Clickbank, everything is pretty much automated for you. That is why they are #1 on the market.

If you are an affiliate, you can pretty much sign up to any program and can be assured that you will get paid every 2 weeks.

As far as being a vendor at clickbank, I know that you will have to set up multiple accounts for multiple products if you want different affiliate programs for each of your products.

I also use ClickBank as its commission rate is really higher than others.

PayDotCom is pretty much the bottom of the barrel as far as affiliate networks and in-time payments are concerned. It's an anachronism in today's era of proactive networks.

I'm still owed payment from a vendor there who's trying his best not to pay my legitimate dues.

After a while, this cat-and-mouse game of the vendor paying affiliates (which is what happens in PayDotCom) gets on your nerves.

I'm glad my affiliate business is not dependent on PDC.

I presume products related to meditation and Yoga sell well there in addition to a few from making money online niche. I mean a few of the e-books and so on.

No, waste of time. If you want to attract affiliates make a decent product and start networking.
