The best thing I can recommend, and I'm sure others will back me up is OptimizePress. It's simple easy to use, and you have an unlimited site license with it. You can also create much more than just squeeze pages, so it can be a great investment in your IM career.

I've used WP Newsletter plugin which is free and helps build and manage optin list with autoresponder option.

A squeeze page is an information page with an opt-in form. You can turn almost any Wordpress page into a squeeze page.

The auto responder companies such as Aweber and GetResponse have a form designer built into their systems. You pick the opt-in form you want for your site, and you decide what information will go into the fields in your form.

Once you have designed your form at the autoresponder's website, they give you a short piece of code - java script - that you drop into your webpage.

With Wordpress, it is even easier than with a static HTML page, because you don't need to go into the code to insert the opt-in form.

You simply open a text widget, ignore the place where you would put in a title, and paste the code from the autoresponder into the place where you would normally write text in the widget.

The only goofy consideration is to resize the form when creating it so it is narrow enough to fit into the widget.

That said, there is a plug-in for Aweber called "Aweber Integration" that automates the process for you.

From what I have seen of Optimize Press, OPhelp is right on the money with his advice to use Optimize Press as your Wordpress system. It automates the process of creating all sorts of squeeze pages and sales pages in Wordpress.

If you're using WordPress for your site and want a squeeze
page you have a number of options...

    1. Plug-in - There are WordPress plug-ins like Premise that
make the creation of a squeeze page very easy:

WordPress Membership Sites & Landing Pages by Premise (no affil.)

The advantage of this route is that you can continue to
use your current WordPress theme without modification.

    2. Theme - You can either edit your current theme to
create a squeeze page template or use a WordPress
theme that's been specifically developed to make the
creation of squeeze pages easy (e.g. OptimizePress):

Optimize Press | Pro Internet Marketing Tools (no affil.)

OptimizePress is one of the quickest and easiest ways
to create impressive looking squeeze pages.

    Dedicated to mutual success,

Like others said, OptimizePress is the best one. You not only can build a squeeze page, but also the sales letter for the OTO in your funnel. I think this is the best solution for your problem. Good luck.

    Hi Lauretta,

Take a look at WPSqueezePro. It's a great plugin from a reputable marketer, Jason Fladlien.

    Take Care,

I'm just starting out with using an opt-in page so I have a dumb question or two:
    a) Do I have to use an auto-responder or can I just set up a squeeze page that allows people to enter their email address which will just send that to my yahoo mail?
    b) I really at this point do not want to pay $160+ for a plug in or $100 for a Theme.
Is there a cheap way to just set up a form on a page that will entice people to put their email into it and when they click SUBMIT it will send that email address to my email box?

Is there a WSO that I can get that will help me set this up inexpensively or is there a discount on the a Theme or Plug In like one of the ones above? At this point I am just building one site that requires an opt-in form or squeeze page and so I really don't want to invest $100+.

    Another dumb question:
    The Optimize Press site says:
"OptimizePress will not Work on Wordpress.com Hosted Blogs or Wordpress MU/Multisite networks.

So I have the following set up: I have my domain name at godaddy and unlimited hosting at godaddy.
I will set up my domain at godaddy to be built as a wordpress site, so the site is built on wordpress but hosted on godaddy right? Therefore OptimizePress will work on the Wordpress site because it is not hosted on wordpress, right?

So now, what is an MU/Multisite network and why would I use one?

I would recommend Premise since you mentioned a plugin. Otherwise, try OptimizePress but it's a theme. I own both and both are great. Well worth the investment.

Lauretta I wish I had come across this thread a few weeks ago!!
I'm having the same issues with BestSqueezePage.com.

Put a domain name with them, made a squeezepage, but after editing the page it never goes live on the url it's meant to be on.
I'm at the stage where I'm now exchanging emails for almost 2 weeks! Still waiting for any proper response and a solution from their support team (if there are any)

Really feel I'm wasting my time and am at the point of cancelling my subscription.

Did you ever get any response or have you found out more on how to report this? Starting to look more like a scam to me at this stage.

Anyone else who's experienced this with BestSqueezePage.com?
