Default Does PLR still have its place?

Hi,

I was considering creating a site selling PLR articles, but I was wondering if this was a wise choice. Do PLR articles still have their place or has the market for these articles come and gone? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Ren

I think it still has its place but I believe that audio and video plr will start to become more sought after.

Believe me, it's very hard to find decent video/plr if any at all. I think that if you can bring something new to the table (audio and video) then you will be even more successful.

I don't think you should make a PLR site because there's so many good free ones.

Please tell me about these free PLR sites that offer quality content. I find it hard to believe that there are ANY free PLR sites that are worth ones time.

I think that there's a place for PLR if people know how to use it properly - rewriting, converting to audio or video, etc. I also think there's quite a bit of demand for video PLR - my first set sold pretty well. If you have Camtasia, that might be another avenue to explore.

Offer quality PLR and show people how to actually create income for themselves with it and surely you would have customers for life?

PLR certainly still has it's place. If you produce quality PLR content you should always do well. As long as it is quality you will be just fine. I agree that video and audio PLR is hot. I can testify to that, and I am coming out with a PLR video membership myself because it is in such hot demand. Even good, quality PLR ebooks or articles make for a great membership website.

I think this is very good advice and is what I'm doing to try and establish myself.

Try and overdeliver, get some testimonials, find ways to improve your offering and you'll give yourself every chance!

PLR has a very important place in this biz. You can also turn your PLR articles into audio and video that way you get three uses for each PLR document that you have: written, audio, video.

Yes, PLR is still in demand.

Take it from someone who's making money from it

The key is just to create very, very high quality content to make your stuff stand out. Don't just sell the same old boring articles written in the same old boring style.

I mean if people really truly know how to use PLR it's a HUGE time saver and you can get a ton out of it. (Blog posts, articles, videos....)

Creating your own PLR is a great resource to have particularly if you're looking at selling it in bulk or offering for free to any prospective clients! Making good quality PLR is much the same as making good quality web or article content, if you can diversify the subjects and niches you are writing about, it gives you a greater choice and wider variety for your submissions and prospective clients! Creating it also helps you learn more about subjects or niches you would not have normally investigated or thought about as well!

PLR done right right can be very useful. I use a lot of PLR stuff on 'feeder' sites designed to pump backlinks to wards my money sites. You need to make the PLR articles unique to have any effect of course, but that isn't hard nowadays. There's a free ebook starter guide to how to do this at bloggerhigh.

http://www.contentboss.com - automated article rewriting software gives you unique content at a few CENTS per article!. New - Put text into jetspinner format automatically! http://www.autojetspinner.com

PS my PM system is broken. Sorry I can't help anymore.

I have had great success from PLR content and believe there is still a great market for it. Especially for those on a limited amount i.e. offering a plr ebook to just 200 people compared to offering it to 1000.

Concerning PLR articles, I think they're still a good foundation for rewriting...it's hard to write a lot of articles about one particular subject sometimes, so they can be good for doing the research for you and saving you a lot of time and effort.

PLR articles will always have a place in the industry as long as we are allowed to write. For a number of us who need a jumping board to help move our thought process forward this medium is critical to move my projects forward - a little late on the post but I hope this helps with your decision
