Hi guys,

What are quick methods to drive good amount of traffic towards your new website. I 'm new in business, & have setup a couple of new websites for affiliate marketing. Since its a beginning for me, so it doesn't matter if I rank my sites on page 1 Google, right now, all I need is to drive some consistent traffic to my website. Pls share your experiences. What helped you, when you jumped into the business.

You can purchase the traffic if you have the money but be prepared to lose some money at first before you get your campaign profitable.

Of course you can get lucky and start profiting right away but usually this is not the case.

Video marketing is another way to get traffic to your website quite easily and quickly - and on top of it, it's free!

try forum marketing, blog commenting, classified ads, etc. Mix up all of your traffic sources and don't rely on only one method

  Yes. I think I should try forums & classified ads to start. At the beginning, its a bit hard to invest in paid traffic, but I don't mind in future, if I had to pay for traffic when I start making some money, because then I'm getting something in return as well.

  Seems like a lot of the same type of answers from so many different people and different marketers.
  
  Think outside the box BUT keep one fundamental principle in mind when driving traffic: CONTENT IS KING!
  
  Try this:
  
  1. Go over to the Directory of Ezines: Directory of Ezines.
  2. Sign up for their free ebook. Read it. Then, read it again!
  3. Sign up for an account with the directory of ezines.
  4. Go over to fiverr.com and find an article writer with a very high rating, then hire him/her to write you about 10 great articles around your niche. (will cost you about $50)
  5. Start utilizing the directory of ezines, as prescribed by them by offering your articles to ezine publishers.
  
  DOE cost about $197 for membership, but will be well worth it to drive traffic over the long haul. In fact, you'll drive quality traffic to your site, not just traffic.
  
  PPC will drive traffic, but let's say you decide to spend $300 per month for a year. That's $3,600 annually.
  
  DOE membership ($197) + 2 articles per week @ $5 each ($10) from a fiverr.com writer = $717 annually.
  
  So, for roughly 80% less the money, you'll be sending a higher quality traffic to your site.
  
  Would you rather have high quality, targeted traffic or just any traffic?

This is a good question.

You can use either paid traffic, such solo ads, PPC, banner ads...

Or you can use cool FREE traffic strategies.

Normally, people assume that FREE traffic is slow, but if you know how to take advantage of the newest trends, you can get traffic really fast, even faster than paid traffic because with paid traffic, you have to wait for people to approve it lol

The latest trends right now are YouTube, Facebook, Press Releases and authority blogs.

You can even do both paid and FREE traffic!

Use paid traffic to invest your money.
Otherwise you could also use social media marketing, that's effective and free.

If you want fast traffic then set up a ppc campaign. If your looking for free traffic then video marketing and forum marketing is really effective.

One of the quickest as another member has said can be uploading videos to Youtube, you will be most successful if you can pay someone to upload to lots of video sharing sites.

Also submitting articles to article directories, this is a great long term traffic driver, but takes time to get started.

Or go to adbrite and pay for a link or banner on a relevant site.

Giving away free ebooks will bring in some good traffic.

whew! I hardly know where to start. You have your paid options and your have your free options and then you have your smart options.

Pay - adwords, solo ads, yada yada
Free - to many to list... yada yada yada

Smart - My personal favourite - Affiliate traffic.

As usual... PPC, blog advertising, forum marketing, article directory advertising, youtube, youtube advertising, blog marketing, solo ads, article marketing, seo, traffic exchanges, etc.

You could user you tube, facebook, forums, and many more.

Why do people simply respond with one word answers to this question?

"Facebook"
"Twitter"

Ok, but what exactly does that mean?

Spam your friends and relatives?

Posts just designed to spam that sig link aren't very helpful, in my opinion. Why not post a legitimate strategy of implementation with these one word responses.

You need to optimize your site for search engines or you may try PPC as well. Make use of facebook and twitter it may take a while but the results would be worth it.

depends if your sending people to a squeeze page or ablog/website

if its a squeeze page then ppc and solo ads are great

if its a blog/website then social media, articles, seo, forum, videos, blog comments

they may not be nothing ground breaking but they work, and thats all that matters

You may be interested in trying some PPV traffic if you want to ramp up the traffic. Certainly takes some coin, yet the traffic generated is worth it. I would recommend looking at some of these networks:

1. DirectCPV
2. LeadImpact
3. Trafficvance

Paid traffic, soon as you start to get a decent return on your investment hire a professional SEO company to work on your site.

And when i say professional i mean a company with a building and staff so you truly will be getting a good service and should guarantee long term success

  I'm into Adbrite but not sure if it works yet. I need to try article writing and send it via ezine but I don't have good experience about it. Just wasting time and get nothing. So try all the ways first and then you will find out which is the best to work for you.

Since you are asking for quick methods, expect to invest money for advertisement.

The quickest methods to drive traffic to your website are through PPC, banner ads, forum advertising, lists and much more.

For PPC, you simple open up an AdWords account first. No matter what other people might say, AdWords has the best tools available to optimize your campaigns. It's far better than adCenter, if you ask me.

You start off by doing keyword research for your product promotion. Highly relevant keywords even with a higher CPC tend to bring in higher conversions than broader keywords with a lower CPC.

For sending out an email promotion to a list, you simply contact people who have big lists in your niche. That's again a highly effective way to make profits and spread the word for your brand/product.
