Just starting out...need help.

INTERNET MARKETING

My friend told me about this site but is not willing to give up the info to help me out. I am set to lose my job on the 31st of August and I am hoping to supplement my income. Not looking for an immediate money answer but would like to put my analytical skills to use. I am not asking for much but if you could point me in the direction of some beginner sites to at least give me an idea of what to do that would be awesome.

If you want to learn about IM, try the 30 Day Challenge - it's a free course and will teach you the skills that you will need to master in order to build a successful business online.

Take the time to really understand each element before moving on to the next.

If you are really serious about building an online business, my advice to you is :

1. Don't jump into it blindly but take some time out and learn everything you can before you start.

2. Don't spend money on courses or 'get rich quick' schemes - everything you need to learn to build an online business is available free if you take the time to look.

Your first lesson is it is nobodies responsibility but your own to help you. You have a brain and two fingers to do your own research. There are people who go the extra mile here but its up to you to create your own success. Nobody owes you anything.

IM is not fast cash. If you are short on cash, I would suggest getting a day job.

Mc Donald is not so bad when you are broke. Plus you get free food.

  don't say nobody told you so. It takes a lot of work, but I would rather starve than work at Mcdonalds - been there done that.

Hello k0lm, both the links provided are great indeed. You can start your IM business following any one of the business model. But, considering your present condition, why don't you start working as a freelancer? At least, you can give it a try. I am not sure what are your capabilities or skill set. But, you can surely try your luck and skill on some of popular freelancing websites like elance, freelancer, guru, odesk etc. If you get some assignments, it will help your income wheel rolling and you could research and start your IM business side by side.
