Privacy policy, Affiliate disclaimer - Can we copy them?

Dear all,

I have finally building my site and working on these links, privacy policy, disclaimers, terms of use, etc.

My question is, can we copy them from other websites and add nofollow tag? :confused:

Or do they have to be unique as well?
Any penalty from google if i copy these from other websites?

    Yes and No...

    Some sites offer templates which you are free to copy and modify. This will be spelled out in their licensing terms.

    Any other site, and you are talking about a copyright violation. Use them at your own risk.

    We have a couple of actual attorneys on the forum who offer memberships for legal forms, and they have both left would-be thieves sadder-but-wiser (and poorer).

    Yes. Google may no longer index it after it's taken down for copyright violations.

    Bottom line:

    Copying legal terms pages like privacy pages is no different than copying images or articles. Feel free to use anything for which you have explicit permission for that use. Do not use anything else.

    Just generate a privacy policy from a template, theres tons of sites out there and also WP plugins, in which you choose your advertising methods (amazon,adsense,clickbank etc..)
    and it sets it straight away.
