Looking for input

I have had a domain now for near 10 years. almoststealing dot com
Would love to do something with it that might make me a little bit of $$.

So my question is, if you had this domain what would you do with it.

Currently I just use it to show clients their templates when they are complete.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I have about 15 domains that I don't do anything with if it makes you feel any better haha..got them early on and didn't end up relating to what I decided to focus on.

    What is your focus online? Maybe we could give you better suggestions if we know what you do.

      I make websites, specifically word press and joomla templates. Graphic design for fun.

    Sounds to me like you could put this in the 'Make Money Online' niche.

    or perhaps an ecommerce site with a lot of cheap offers on it.

    or maybe a PLR content site

      I like the sounds of all of these..... but how?

      BTW, i'm very good with html, php, wordpress and joomla....... including template creation but past that, I don't know who to do any of the above...... what is PLR and how would I do eCommerce when I have no items to sell?

        You are halfway there already if you know WP. Sign up as an affiliate for Amazon.com, Ebay or Walmart you can easily build sites around any product range.

        PLR is private label rights, but you need to get or buy these with MRR (master resale rights) so that you can legally resell them on your site, and of course you can write your own niche article and sell them in batches of 10, 20, 50, etc

    Spend a day or two and build out a site.

    Then head of to flippa and sell it there. You will get more for the website then would get for just the domain. Upsell!

    If you just stuck with PLR, then you can just do a search on this forum, and you'll find a TON of info on how to use it. Usually, you give things away or sell things cheap because you have resale right, and then later you can upsell. These aren't your products...they are ones you get from other people to sell yourself.

    I don't personally like this method much because PLR is usually very low quality stuff and doesn't really help anybody, but like a lot of things that don't necessarily help anyone, you can still make money off of it.

      Oh, i'm not stuck on any thing at the moment. Just need to find something I can do with this site and others. I know there is money to be made on the net, but have no clue how. But I am a fast learner

      Would love some input and ideas, anything really

    I'm with the other poster on this use it for internet and affiliate marketing. a ten year old domain will also gain more respect with the search engines.

        It's not anything you need to do it's just that search engines look on older domains as being less likely to be abused.

        Personally I would create some sort of affiliate site with that one offering IM and Affiliate products to make money online.

    I did some research on your site and looked at page source. As is currently your webpage has no meta tags and keyword relation. The url is easy to remember, and when I think of the url I think of hot deals. Deal I would want to find say for instance electronics, clothing, cars, and with your picture houses. If you can build webpages, build a few seperate sub pages for electronics, clothing, exercise equipment, or what ever. Do a product review and throw an affiliate link, and or offer some CPA's. Since your site was made in sept 2002 the sky is the limit.

    Thank you very much for your post..

    At first what you have to do is some keyword research using google adwords tool. Then write some useful content may be 50 or even 100 pages. Then put some affiliate links or adsense
    and then market slowly in the internet.

    Some Marketing Activities you includes

    Participating in forums related to your niche
    Make posting on amazon, eBay
    Make a page in google plus, facebook
    Regular tweets in twitter and add relevant followers
    Make some videos and publish in YouTube, Metacafe or daily motion
    Make a blog post in your site every 1 week

    I guess you like my above stuffs
    But you have to maintain the above activities regularly and if you do this sooner or later $$$$ come to your way.
