Default Paul Smith Twitch Hiking Through Texas

Paul Smith has been twitch hiking his way through Texas using Twitter to
find places to say for free, basically contacting folks to see if he can crash
on their couch.

Interesting use of Twitter for sure.

I can't fathom offering to let a total stranger from twitter stay at my home. That's putting too much "social" in "social sites" for me.

*nods* And I can't imagine accepting offers from total strangers to stay at their homes. But I suppose if he's built real relationships over a length of time, maybe that's not an issue.

On another Twitter note -- I was reading about how some of those mobile restaurants (in NYC) use Twitter to quickly draw a crowd where ever they park. Nifty.
