$9,000 to spend on advertising - where to buy advertising targetted to people with opt-in pages?

We run a service for webmasters with opt-in pages. I bought a few solo ads on it as a test, however, all I got was a bunch of newbies signing up who didn't even have a proper opt-in page in place.

We have about $9,000 to spend on advertising, but I need to order advertising that will truly work (which means that the webmasters who sign up aren't looking for newbie advice, but they already have their opt-in page set up and are getting at least some traffic there).

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

It's all about targeting. You need to do your research and find out what type of websites those people hang out on. That is where you want to do some advertising. I know it sounds fairly obvious but it really is.

Find out where your people hang and then hang your ads in front of them.

On another note, now that you have got these newbies on-board, do make sure not to throw them away. Rather, help them become seasoned webmasters (offer some tutorial if needed) and then let them also avail your services. That will give you some additional revenue.

Try buying some PPV from a place like LeadImpact or DirectCPV and target urls like Aweber, GetResponse, etc
