Too many friend requests on Facebook - help!

They're are not my friend requests - I just started running the Facebook page for my buddy who is a known musician. The problem is that he is now maxed out and there plenty of friend requests that keep on comin'

My question - Is there a way to let the new friends request senders know that the page is all filled up and the other option is to sign up to a fan page? What would be the best way to transfer those friends requests to that new fan page?

Also, people keep posting on his wall - is there a way for only his posts to show up without deleting what others post? I know this is possible on fan pages, not sure about personal ones.

Any other cool FB tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

You can not actually switch it to the new fan page. What you can do is reply to them sending them a link to the "official fan page"

Use sticky post for all his posts - I do believe fb have this if i am not mistaken. Thus his posts will always be the first ones.

    Hope it helps

The aim of marketing is to make selling superfluous. The aim of marketing is to know and understand the customer so well that the product or service fits him and sells itself.....

Thanks PsycFa, I'll have to tinker around with the page and see what works best.

Wish there was a way to do it faster but it seems emailing people might be the only option.

You could post a status giving out the link to the new fan page and explaining that the current account has already reached the maximum number of friends allowed.
