hostgator http status codes
Hi, I'm not sure this is the right place to post this. If not I'm sorry in advance.
Those peple who use hostgator would probably have looked at the stas page to see their traffic stats. Right down the bottom is a box titled http Stats and it shows a set of figures that look like people tried to get to your website but couldn't due to an error. Here is a sample of what it may contain.

I contacted live chat about these stats, thinking that it meant a lot of visitors had missed getting to my website. The guy said it was not necessarily people but things like spiders and bots. But I'm wondering if he was right. He took a long time to come up with the explanation.
Has anyone else who uses hostgator had this problem and been given the same answer? Its a lot of hits to miss out on if it is people
