How much budget do you have? I know the kind of site your talking about and to build a site like that which is customized is going to cost you a couple thousand. Maybe they have some pre-built templates for cheap, but what your trying to do is going to require custom work. Do you have a couple thousand to spend on something like this?

I'm assuming that if there isn't already a cheap prebuilt template for those kinds of sites then you will have to get one made... I'm pretty sure your entire budget would be blown on just building the site.

Also how would you get items to sell right from the start? But before you could even open up your service you would need to do some major advertising to get your name out there. There would be no point doing this if you had like 50 people on your site who just bid on something once and win it and you lose money.

Of course most of those sites have bot bidders, but if you did that you wouldn't last very long.

I don't think you realize how big of an operation the whole thing would be. A 5-8k budget will get you no where for a project like this. Those sites you see spend tens of thousands on advertising and on paying commissions for affiliates to advertise their sites for them. And still most of them fail.

I like the idea you have. I just think you need to try for something on a smaller scale first.

probably is like a gpt site.but they dont earn cash but they earn bids for an item.for taking a task.but the problem how will i get advertiser.

actually 5 to 8k is my personal and i had 5 friends with 10 k each or more so the budget is not a problem.the problem is how to make a website like gpt,auction site and microworkes at 1 site.and how can we get advertiser.we are running a referral contest so we have 3000 members in our mailing list.this is our website should works.our member will try specific task to earn bids.they have a chance to bid on a gadget.instead of money we want them to earn bids.

I actually suggest that you start creating a list of your prospective advertisers. Send them a proposal of your site and a would be relationship with them, tell them the potential of your site and a report regarding your subscribers, mainly the age group and gender. This will help them decide on advertising on your page. Well getting your first few is the trick to get more along the way. Your site should prove worthy of the ads that clients would pay for. Well this is just one simple way, I'm pretty sure that the experts here can suggest other ways to get you leads.

Well you can build your own list, or hire a VA to find leads for you. But before anything else, you should have a vision of what the majority of viewers you would be having, this will then give you an idea "who" and "which" companies will actually be willing to spend some bucks for an ad on your site.

I think you need to outline your design and focus on what you want to do first and then build up a list of advertisers that you fill would benifit the site.

Web designers and programmers are just there to fulfill your vision for your site with their technical and creative side. What eadternodyssey was actually referring to is your vision on your site, what you want to accomplish or achieve. This will actually make it easier for your prospects to follow suit of your proposal since you already have a site. Yes it is possible to hire people to help you get advertisers.

Well since you are from the Philippines, it will surely be easy for your to find good designers and developers at a reasonable price. I've hired someone from there before and he is really professional with some mad skills. They charge well over a thousand dollars and the graphic artist was another deal which was around 500 dollars well the price generally varies but the skills is what you should really look into to get your money's worth.
