    It depends on many factors.
If you already have an idea about what business would you start, then it will help to answer whether online or offline.

This is a very vague question. It really depends on what you want to do.

If youre thinking about a fast food restaurant, go offline.

If you're thinking about an Internet marketing guide, go online.

If you're thinking of selling a tangible product, you could go either. If you go brick and mortar with a physical product, it will be important to establish an online presence.

Very vague, It depends on a lot of factors, location, product, marketing techniques ect. But honestly, why not try to do both?

It's really more about your personality type and how you want to spend your time.

If you're a people person and want to get out into the community, then offline is the way to go.

If you would rather interface online and be a homebody, online.

Or, as someone suggested, do both.

The nice thing about doing both (as I do) is you can pick and choose your offline clients (some of them can be pains!). If half of your income comes from online ventures, you don't need to put up with BS.

The best advice I ever got: Stop thinking about it, make a decision and start producing. Take action today.

Wishing you success, online or offline (or both!)

It depends on YOU. What skills do you bring to the table. how persistent are you. How quickly can you learn stuff and take action. We can't answer that question for you. Only you can.

Depends on your buisness model and whether it would be successful online or offline. Secondly it depends on you geographical target audience whether they are domestic or international. Normally if you have the financial means to start your buisness its easier to start offline, as you do not have to worry about certain things like SEO or web design etc.

I agree with what everyone, it really depends with what you can do and what you really like. If what you have in mind is something for offline or online or both ways. Just a tip try to think as a customer of whatever it is that you are thinking of getting into. Then as a customer where would you think can you find what you are looking for?

    Good Luck!

If you think you know how to make great content, you have the skills to make your website or blog rank high in search engines and can eat, sleep and breathe the internet and computers, I'd say you should choose an Online business.
