How to start an e-commerce website and how to maintain it?.what are the thing i need before starting an e-commerce website?.Do i need to buy those product and put it on my website or not. Sorry guys if i ask to many. Others probably will tell me go search google that i think is a kind of rude and arrogant. Im here to the forum who is an expert that can advice me. Why do i need to go to Mr. Google if many is here will provide me correct answer. And Mr. Google point me here.

    I don't have an idea as of right now but i like hotel accomodations or gadgets. But i don't know if it will be profitable. I want something like tripedia for hotels and tvstogo for tv. Are they affiliates or do they buy those product to list them in their website? if not how do they do that?

    There are various ways a ecommerce website can develop. You can have your own products and you can sell those, you can also use others product and can reffer your users to merchant sites and get paid for that. The last marketing aspect that i explained is called affiliate marketing. In case of your own product you need to manage inventory, products etc. You can develop wordpress driven ecommerce site.

    For affiliate aspect if you have an automated solution then you dont have to manage website just focus on marketing and get paid. Else you have to manage the feed or affiliate banners.

    For travel vertical you can check this link in WF http://www.warriorforum.com/wanted-m...ust-299-a.html. This may be good way to start for some quick cash.

    If you have no clue how to start you have a lot of training ahead of you. You will need to get a business name (dba), business bank account, tax id (to sale for wholesalers). Once you have those things you need to learn how to find the right manufacturers that offer drop shipping (do not type drop shipping into Google it's all scams and middle men). Once you have products to sale you then list them on your site, build your ranks in the search engines and then have to deal with the customers.

    That's putting it short but gives you an idea, I have been in it for about 5 years now and it's a love hate relationship. It's harder money than affiliate marketing or adsense but depending on the market the payoff could be greater as well.
