Hi guys,

I just went to clicksure to check my affiliate stats and it seems the site is down.

I then went to downorblocked.net (A site where the tell you if a site is online or not) and got the following results...

Webserver: clicksure.com

Code: None
Server not found

Does anyone know what is going on with clicksure?

I never signed up for Clicksure. I didn't like the fact that I had to give them my bank account and router number to allow for a direct deposit. I don't know why they couldn't just use my Paypal.

I've noticed a lot of JV offers are going to Clicksure, so I guess I'm missing some sales. But oh well, there's dozens of other platforms to choose.

        Cheers!

I'm 100% with you! For them to come in as a new company and want my bank account information just never sat well with me. A check or payment via PayPal would have been fine, but I don't give out my bank info unless I know exactly who I'm dealing with.

As an affiliate I know for a fact that Mastercard and Visa are currently blocking payments to Clicksure from US cardholders. This is BIG trouble for Clicksure. I have fired off an support ticket to Clicksure and am awaiting their response to this. Everyday I am getting complaints from prospective purchasers saying their credit cards are being blocked.

No, it's not gone buddy. They process out of China, so have a slighty higher decline rate is all. Plus FYI networks like Clicksure and Clickbank have also began blocking habitual refunders and happy chargeback peeps. Some banks automatically block international transactions unless you tell them otherwise as a fraud prevenative measure; however you can call your Visa or Mastercard provider and simply tell them that you want international transactions allowed for your account and they will remove the block

Give it 24hrs after you know the international block has been removed and it will go right through.

Can they access things like the number of chargebacks for a credit card, or can they just do it for purchases made through them?

Either way it seems like an interesting step. Does anyone have a link for more info on this?

Clicksure is TERRIBLE for your customers.

As a customer, I just purchased a $49.00 item. Was ok with that. After entering my cc info, I was taken to a screen that informed me that the actual amount may be more. Of course the transaction was already initiated, so I couldn't say NO. The actual amount ended up being $49.99

When calling the customer support 800 number, they only refunded the 49.00, not the entire amount.

BEWARE...this smells really bad. I would never purchase another product via Clicksure.

It looked like they purchased a $49.00 product and paid $49.99. Then they got refunded $49.00 and are now out $9.99.

In some countries people live on one dollar a day. It looks like he's from one of those countries, so it's big money for him. His family might have had to starve for a whole day because of it. Pity he's buying products from ClickSure to instantly enrich himself and hopefully move out but that just never happens.

If your selling a product for $49.00, and you purchase it, expecting your credit card to be charged $49.00, BUT INSTEAD it is charged $49.99 (99 cents more, in my case), that is FRAUD. Then when you request a refund, they will not refund you the entire amount.

Sounds more like international fraud...skim a little here and there, even when refunded.

              NICE !!!! Not

It's basically a "too strong" level of fraud protection or something...

It's not ~quite~ as bad as the way TrafficBot made it sound.

From what I hear - there's definitely a high level of DECLINES (Trafficbot said "blocked" - and almost made it sound like "all USA cards are blocked").

      It's a high number - I'd guess 20-25%. But it's not 100%.

I talked to one of their big vendors while in Affiliate Summit this week and he's pretty happy with Clicksure - there's a few guys that are. I wonder if one has a compelling enough offer, will a customer reach in their pocket for a secondary credit card perhaps?? (just a thought)

(And yes -- it's up - and even downorblocked says it's up right now)

Shocking products and terrible customer service from my own experience with them. I had to wait over a month for a simple refund on a sub standard product. I will never deal with them again.

I got this email from clicksure today concerning their payouts:

    Update on PayPal Payments.

Unfortunately, after sending tens of thousands of dollars a week to our affiliates through PayPal, PayPal have taken the decision to limit our account. Despite us continuously trying to work with PayPal, and providing them with all the information requested, they have not lifted this limitation, meaning we are currently unable to pay our affiliates through PayPal.

ClickSure takes great pride in paying its affiliates and sellers on time every time. Unfortunately, the limitations with PayPal have caused delays that are out of our control. We strive to provide the best possible service, and are currently looking at alternative eWallet options.

All Paychecks between $250 & $1,000, which are normally issued through PayPal were sent via wire yesterday evening at a cost of $35 each (Paid by ClickSure this week). You can expect these payments to arrive in your Bank Account later today or on Monday.

We apologise if this has caused any inconvenience or disruptions to your payment schedule.

Until the limitations with PayPal are resolved, or we find an alternative eWallet that we feel can provide a better service, we will revert to making all payments via International Bank Transfer (Wire). Please ensure that your account details are up to date to avoid any further unnecessary delays.

However, due to the costs associated with paying via wire, from next week (Thursday 16th of May) if you wish to be paid out an amount below $1000, there will be a $35 wire fee. This is to cover the fees that banks impose on sending wire transfers, and ClickSure does not profit from this. On payments over $1,000, ClickSure absorbs this fee as a courtesy.

Again, we apologise for any disruption or inconvenience that this has caused, and we will continue to update you on any further developments.

    Kind Regards,
    The ClickSure Team

I'd be out of there as quick as I could.

I'd never be a vendor there, and would never buy a product from their marketplace

        This.

(And I wouldn't be an affiliate for one, either.)

Considering they dont accept PayPal payments and only use them to payout smaller affiliate commissions of less than $1,000, what probably happened was their account went from sending out almost no transactions, to sending out thousands of dollars "over night" and Paypal limited them due to the increase in payouts.

Just like if you go and create a Paypal account and start receiving a surge of payments, you get limited.

Nothing to see/worry about here folks....move along.

I wanted to check out some of their products a while back to promote as an affiliate but I was put off because they wanted some details which I really didn't want to give them, I can't remember exactly what it was perhaps bank account details or ID / address verification uploaded? Either way it didn't sit well with me.

I'm sort of surprised clicksure tried to work with PayPal, seeing as how PayPal despises most of the products clicksure markets. A la Internet marketing.

    Anyway, clicksure is definitely up.
