Can You Add An Audio After A Particular Timepoint In A Video Presentation

I know you can add the "Add to Cart" button after a particular point in a video. Is it possible to add an audio after a particular timepoint below the video?

Can this be done using the Easy Video Player?

I don't think I made it clear, I was referring to making an audio appear below the video at a particular timepoint something like the Add To Cart button.

You can probably do this using CamTasia.

It can do pretty much everything itself.

That's if you own it already but you can always do the FREE trial and just get the things done and then at least that task can be ticked off the list.

All the best & keep up the momentum!!!

What do you mean by adding audio "below" the video? Last time I checked, audio is not something that you actually "see". :p

In all seriousness though, if you want to make an audio clip start at a specific point in the video, that can be easily done with any video editor (Windows Movie Maker, Sony Vegas, Camtasia, etc).

Providing your video editor has some sort of timeline feature and can support multiple tracks, you should be able to do this with either drag and drop or adding the audio clip into your clip bin area, then adding to another track.

That's really what you need is an editor that supports multiple tracks. I guess its possible that you have to add something in front of the audio clip to make it stick to the point you want it to, but other wise this should be relatively easy. And very doable.

I just did it last week, adding intros and outros to my video series.

The client has a video presentation and he wants to display a few audio interview excerpts he has done with experts towards the end of the video directly below the video.

So for example, say your product is a bunch of interviews you did with IM experts and towards the end of the video presentation, you want to show a few interview excerpts below the video so that the prospects can get to hear a sample of what these interviews are all about.

      Am I making sense?

What you're talking about CAN be done via Easy Video Player if you are on Wordpress. Here is what you should do:

    1) Install an Audio Player plugin.

    2) In Easy Video Player, set an element to appear at the time you want. The element will be HTML code, and you'll use the short code [audio: filename.mp3] somewhere in there. That should trigger the plugin to bring up your audio. SHOULD. Test it.

  • I would suggest a free soundcloud account, and upload the audio there. This will create a player. Then take the embed html from the share functions off of soundcloud and paste that HTML into your software, to make it appear at the desired time point, as a player.
