Some times I have no idea what I am doing

So I started my own webpage mmo-ice.com and so far I guess I am doing ok. What I really need help with is promoting I have to find away around my competitors I need that edge so to speak. Anyone have any words of inspiration or success story's or at least can relate to me so I know there is a chance. I feel like I am flying by the seat of my pants!

    Go social. That's a community based subject so go out there and join related sites etc. Also get active on Facebook, twitter and all the major sites.

    Get back on track, now! Lack of clarity can be a major cause of failure; I am speaking from personal experience here. I failed in many ventures due to my lack of clarity. Research your competitors, analyse all of their good aspects and replicate them if possible. Then, promote the hell out of your website. Social Media is a very good platform for it.

    Whatever you do, ensure that you devise a strategy, apply it and continually modify it.

    I'm sure everybody has felt that at one time or another so you're definitely not alone. But the great thing is you are taking action which is more than what 90% of people do. Focus on your goal and continue to move forward. Study and learn then plan and move forward. And don't fall victim to analysis paralysis. Failure is a necessary component of success.

      To the OP, your pages need more content, more text!

      Yes, start a facebook page if you don't have one already, the gaming niche is fantastic for this sort of thing.

    You need to look at what other successful marketers in your niche & other similar markets are doing, and formulate a daily routine based on your findings. You'll be surprised at what spending a few minutes each day doing 3-5 primary tasks can do for your business.

    Word of caution...be wary about using social media too much. It can be a great tool, but only if you have a clear strategy on how to use it to move your business forward.

      I am working on content I understand the value of it, just having time constraints as of late. But the good news and bad news is 1. I will have a lot more content coming 2. It will be because I wont have a job for much longer.

    What i do when i feel demotivated is go to Youtube and look at some motivational videos it brings me back up pretty fast.
