Content for Squeeze Pages?

For those of you who deal with landing pages and squeeze pages, where do you get the inspiration for your content? I am struggling to not sound like a sales person, but at the same time make it seem valuable.

I have seen some great pages, but don't want to just copy or change others info, looking for ways to come up with good content on my own.

I made a list of all the benefits of my services and everything, but it still doesn't sound right.

The contet on your squeeze page all depends on what niche your targeting. Have you considered hiring a copywriter?

I've studied copywriting for years, so i know how to put together a good sales letter and squeeze page.

I'm in the internet marketing niche, and i know a bit about internet marketing, so that's why i operate in this field. And i like it. It's a passion of mine. My content for articles and blog posts come from my personal expertise in this field.

I would either higher a copywriter, or look at other high converting pages and use those for inspiration

If you are solving a problem and your product is quality then it shouldn't be that difficult. You need to highlight EXACTLY what this product will do for the person you are promoting to. By the way, I said "Person" not Person's" you need to market to individuals and NOT groups. Get inside the mind of the person who NEEDS and is ACTIVELY looking for that product.

I would definitely outsource it if you struggle. But in case you really want to do this yourself I would look for an online course that teaches you how to write a squeeze page.

What is the goal of your squeeze page?

To get an email address or sell something?

If you are just looking for an email, it can be as small as a a few sentences in a paragraph.

Tell them what problem will be solved by giving an email address.

Are you trying to actually sell something? That pushes into sales page - which will need a bit more information, but still - you need to convey what problem you are solving and what benefits they will get.

A lot will also depend on how you are driving traffic to your squeeze page.

For example, if you were using article marketing, the article will do some preliminary selling for you. If you are using paid advertising, you may need much more information on the landing page.

You can always create a few different pages and test which gives you best results.

What you think doesn't sounds right doesn't mean other people will think that way too, I often experienced that what I think will be best turned out bad and the other way around.
In my opinion the most important thing is just Do it, launch two type of your best stuff and see which one give you the best result. Just do not forget to track every test. Have a nice Testing!

Put yourself in the shoes of your target prospect...

What are their biggest problems that you can help them
    to solve?

What are they most worried about?

What do they most want to achieve?

    Start off with that.

Enter the conversation that's already going on in
their mind. Meet them where they are and lead
them to where they need to be.

What would they likely say to you if you met them
face-to-face and how would you respond to them?

Use that likely conversation as a starting point for
your squeeze page or landing page copy.

    Dedicated to mutual success,

    Shaun
