Amazon Affiliate Website +ebook

Hi everyone,

I'm new to IM. I just attended a seminar by Ethan Tony Chien and hope to get this affiliate program started as soon as possible. Has anyone heard of this person -Ethan Tony Chien? Should I register for his classes?

I've been reading many posts on this site about affiliate marketing. I have many questions and hope to get some answers.

1. Amazon.com requires a website to join their affiliate program. I know many people recommend "WordPress" for site building. Can I use Wix or other free website building tools instead? Does it make any difference?

2. How about Associate-O-Matic? Will it be a better choice on terms of building an affiliate website? I tried to download their Lite version this morning, and found it's difficult to use though......

3. I have an existing website (for wholesale tea products). Should I enter this website on Amazon affiliate program first, or build a separate site --> get a domain --> apply for Amazon affiliate program?

4. What kind of affiliate site will be most likely to be approved by Amazon? Are they looking for site full of reviews? I'm not good at writing reviews, will it be any solution?

5. E-book. I see a lot of warriors talking about writing their own e-books. Is it that simple to write your own e-books (manually)? Or, is there any software I can use to generate an e-book fast and almost semi-automatically?

Thank you.

Best regards,

Janie

    Hi

I just started with Associate-O-Matic Lite too

You can make great looking sites

It does take a little learning curb but once you get going it will take about 45 minutes to setup your site

Here are some examples ez2b.me and diethowto.com

I use xheader for the headers and resize the site from 99% wide to 950px to match the header

Don't forget to put your Amazon affilliate codes in

Any website that seems legitimate will be good to register with amazon for associate purposes, as long as it has some original content on it. (In other words, some articles or blog posts are more helpful than something that is a straight sales site, for getting started.)

Only you can answer whether it is worth registering for those classes. Did you learn anything in the seminar? Do a google search for reviews of his classes and see what you find out.

Anything with "o-matic" on the end, I am staying away from. LOL Build a legit looking site with good content and you will be fine. Do things the right way...don't try shortcuts and other nonsense out there.
