Quick aWeber question regarding followup emails

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi, I have a quick aWeber question. I would like to add users to the same list but have them follow a completely different autoresponder path. At the moment I have my business site proving a report and then following up on that. I would like to have another report on a different site that follows a whole new path.

Any ideas?

I thought about that, but wanted to keep things simple and have them in one list. I've seen the include functionality. Just didnt want to have a number of different lists for the same product and only differing because of the alternative marketing angle.

  With AWeber you can only specify one follow-up series
  per list - which is pretty limiting.
  
  With the autoresponder I use (ActiveCampaign) I can
  create any number of different follow-up sequences
  for people on the same list.
  
  I just use custom fields to segment my list and send
  them a different autorepsonder sequence.
  
  So, people who join from page A, get follow-up series A,
  and people who join from page B, get follow-up series B.
  
  This is great for testing the effect of two different
  follow-up approaches, e.g. frequency, content.

You can only have one set of autoresponder messages per list.

So you either send all leads the same follow up messages or you split them up into separate lists and send them different follow up messages.

There's no other option.

You can segment your list but this only works for broadcast messages NOT autoresponder followup emails.

Thanks for the recommendation Shaun, I noticed they are slightly cheaper than aweber. This may be an option in the future.

I will have a look into it, the self hosted option might be a bridge too far for me but I can definitely see the advantages of using this for the extra functionality.
