INTERNET MARKETING

I always thought email marketing was spam. I guess I was wrong. Is there a service out there where you can send your email message to 100,000s of people?

It is spam if you just buy a list. You have to get people to opt-in (and usually confirm their opt-in) to mail them.

Aweber.com is the general choice for permission based email marketing- but there are plenty of services out there that do it.

Hmm. What are some of these sites that do this. Can you buy a list on Aweber.com.

  It also depends on exactly what you plan on marketing. Blindly buying opt-in lists won't for one minute guarantee sales, and can in fact do more harm to the list than good if it's not compatible for your product/niche. You must also request permission before sending unsolicited emails. You can also buy lists which are going to be completely worthless to you being scraped and/or with a very high bounce rate.
  
  There are other ways of placing your product/service before a mass multi-million targeted audience, but without knowing your product I can't advise further.

No you can not buy a list on Aweber.com That is a service for sending mass mail but you need to have your own list. Yes it is a spam if that list is not yours and you bought it somewhere.

  Don't buy email lists. Most, if not all, are lists of addresses which have been scraped together without the people ever giving their permission to be on them. Many of them have bad addresses or worse, spam trap addresses which will get you blacklisted. Stick with building your own list of opted in permission based subscribers.
  
  If you run a search here, you will find dozens of great posts giving tips on how to build your own list.
  
  It's one thing to use a broker to send your offer to their list, but if someone offers to sell you a list of email addresses, run far and fast.

1. Buy autoresponder service from aWeber (or similar)
2. Create an opt-in form -- upload/add it to your site.
3. Entice readers to sign up for your list by offering a premium (free report, etc.)
4. Develop and maintain a relationship with your list - market to them periodically, but the majority of your mailings should provide valuable information that is of interest to THEM.

NOTE: Always utilize a double opt-in sign-up - where they sign up, then have to confirm their sign-up via an email. This prevents other people from signing you up for stuff you don't want (and vice versa).

I suggest that you make your own list by making a blog and capturing email addresses. You can have several blogs and you will soon have a big list.

The advantage is that they will be your subscribers and you will be able to market to them for a long time.

  I'd suggest starting with credit based safelists first (also with building a list in mind) and other forms of free advertising. It may not be the fastest way, but you have to start with something.
  
  Why am I suggesting credit based safelists? Because you can use this method to build your list in two ways:
  
  1. Sending your offers and directing the traffic to your squeeze page (bulding a list)
  2. Using the "reverse e-mail marketing" method. People often enter their e-mail addresses into their safelist ads for you to contact them. Collect those addresses and contact those people, too, but don't spam them with just your offer!

  Sending out an email shotgun fashion is a mistake. Marketing includes targeting your market. If not you are wasting money.
  
  I had spent several hundred bucks on a clickabank product, received about 2000 clicks with -0- sales! I also like everyone in this forum get email for all kinds of offers that we have to delete because we just don't need or want an AARP card or a maintenance insurance on a 98 Silverado 4x4 with 112K on it that can't be insured, or a new set of Blinds, or a Free Trip to Ft. Lauderdale,
  or a reverse mortgage, or an easy mole remover, you get the point.
  
  I don't know what market you are in but most marketers will tell you to target. Generally they will cost you more money but that is the name of the game.

  Absolutely so. No matter what your niche is, you have to have targeted visitors. And all this boils into one thing - build your own list to market to. A free method here would be forum marketing (signature) or PPC as the paid alternative.

its not a spam you have to buy email list nd u sell ur product to that customer.

Aweber can do the trick, but it's advisable that you generate targeted leads, and NOT buy an email list. Once you reach the 10,000 a month opt-in leads point... backup your subscriber list daily.

My advice to you is to start building your own list. You can do that with solo ads starting out.

Email marketing is a permission-based marketing, you should never send to a list of 'unknown' peoples that didn't opt-in to your list, this is called spamming.

Steps to do email marketing are:
To setup your email marketing campaign, you need the following:
- Get a domain name and hosted it
- Get a reliable Autoresponder.
- Build your opt-in/landing pages and sales pages
- Find ways to lead bring traffic to that landing page.(free & paid traffic)
- Send follow-up messages to your subscriptions of great values

  Building a list can take some time. I found, after many hits and misses, that I needed to start with solo ads and although my list is still not huge it is growing. I recommend starting with solo ads to create your list. Just my .02 .
