Kung Fu Panda and Your IM Destiny...

by 4Highflyers 7 replies
Dear Grasshopper,

I was watching Kung Fu Panda last night with my little boy and one little
phrase got kapow'ed out the screen (by the wise old Tortoise) above all
others...

"Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery, but Today is a gift...
that is why it is called the Present."

Sickly sweet? Maybe - but certainly helps get the message home.

Amen for fun, animated kids films for sometimes making the simple
importances in life stand out

So have yourself a great day - and do what you can with what you have
right now.

Best,
Adam

PS...
For anyone who loves 70s-style kung fu, there are also some brilliantly
animated old-style fight scenes in there too!

Adam, loved KFP and ALL the 'wise', and sometimes hilarious sayings..

Another good one from the tortoise...

what really clicked with me was "there is no secret ingredience" by the pandas father.
it describes IM perfectly. only hard work, practice and your own mind are needed to become the dragon warrior.

Nothing to see here. Move along, citizen.

Yup that goes well with this thread The BIG SECRET in Internet Marketing...
Nice post, Allegro and great other thread, Kunle.

Related to the BIG SECRET, it's actually pretty weird that "IM" exists at all
as the strange little niche it is...

After all - it's really about marketing on the internet. A subset of
marketing full stop. When people realize that the fundamentals of business
success are pretty much the same whether online or off, the better they'll
    do leveraging aspects of both.

Until then, there'll be plenty of pseudo-secrets to sell

    "Hiiii-yaa!"

Do the best that you can in the situation you're in with the people you're with. Understand your strengths, your weaknesses and limits, and leverage from other people's passion to build on your weaknesses. No one can ask for more.
