I just build autoblog from my client for his existing site. Like my thread before, my service is build from scratch because must fix with the themes and the demo is given, too. But after the new site is done.

Guess what??

My client wants his site back to his old site!!!

Hey, I'm not a magician.

Why does someone doing that stupid request?

What do you think?

Please give something feedback to make sellers service how to deal with that?

NB: My client reject to give his cpanel access and I think he doesn't want to change his site at all. He just wants to make bad day to someone, that's all.

That's why you always save a back-up of the original.

I presume you developed the site on a test domain and only handed it over when the client was happy?

Is it a Wordpress site? In which case if the previous site was also WP then the previous theme should still be there, so you can reactivate it.

If the previous site was a static html site, did you leave the files on the server? In which case removing Wordpress would reinstate the old site.

NEVER overwrite a site and remove the old files until the client has agreed that they accept the new site.

It is not magic, it is called "Backup"
If you did not backup the original site, or build the new site separate from the original, then you probably should not be selling your services.

I have had a site designed and I did not like it, and guess what, it was not because I am stupid. It was because the person designing the new site did not know what they were doing and it looked like crap.

My advice. It is not your site it is your clients. If they want it back to the original then do it. If you do not have the capability to do that, then you owe the client their money plus pay someone to make it right.
